About this live training ...
This is a highly focused, hands-on, interactive 8-week intensive workshop created for Christian women who want to turn their prayer journal, devotional, or Bible study idea to published on Amazon.
We'll meet on Saturdays starting March 14, 2026, through May 9, 2026, from 10 am–4 pm EST.
Twice a week, you will get optional 2-hour live help sessions on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday evenings for questions, feedback, and guidance. (Drop in if you need to or come to every session.)
This live workshop is held entirely online on Zoom.
Replays will be available for all live workshop sessions–for everyone. (No extra VIP charge. In this workshop, everyone is a VIP.)
Each week, you will work on key stages of creating your journal: clarifying your idea, writing your content, formatting the interior, designing your cover, and publishing on Amazon step-by-step.

INTRODUCTION & PREP TALK: We'll jump on a quick Zoom call where we'll talk about what you need to prepare before our first session. "For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has [everything] to complete it?" - Luke 14:28 (ESV)
WEEK 1: IDEA - We'll discuss your idea, topic, and title. You'll do your research, write your outline, and craft your description so you have a clear roadmap for your prayer journal, devotional, or Bible study. "Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time;" - Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV)
WEEK 2: BUILDING CONTENT - This is where you get it written. You’ll move your ideas from your head (and notebook) into a real draft. "Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed," - Ecclesiastes 11:6
WEEK 3: EDITING AND REFINING - We’ll polish your content, refine your structure, and strengthen your devotional or prayer journal prompts so your journal or Bible study is clear, usable, and helpful for your reader. - (Proverbs 25:4 teaches that God lovingly removes every impurity hindering His people.)
WEEK 4: LAYING IT OUT - You’ll learn how to format your interior – how to organize a prayer journal, how to lay out devotional pages, and how to make it easy for your reader to follow. "But all things should be done decently and in order." - 1 Corinthians 14:40 (ESV)
WEEK 5: DESIGN - We’ll add graphics and design elements, and talk about how to bring your prayer journal design ideas to life. "He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers ..." - Exodus 35:35 (ESV)
WEEK 6: BOOK COVER, ISBN, AND COPYRIGHT - We’ll research journal cover designs, create your cover, and discuss how to secure your ISBN and copyright your journal. "By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established;" - Proverbs 24:3 (ESV)
WEEK 7: AMAZON - You’ll go through the process of publishing your project on Amazon. You’ll learn how upload your files and submit your journal so you can start selling it on Amazon. WEEK 8: BEAUTIFUL MOCKUPS - Create professional mockups for your journal, devotional, or Bible study so you can promote it and share it with your community. "May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us ..." - Psalm 90:17 (NIV)
BONUS 1: SUPPORT - Two weekly 2-hour live help sessions throughout the entire 8 weeks. Each week, you’ll have two extra live sessions (Tuesday afternoon and Thursday evening) where you can ask questions and get feedback on your journal project. Absolutely. This workshop is designed for beginners. I'll walk you through every single step, and you'll have access to help sessions twice a week where you can ask questions and get personalized feedback.
During Week 1, we'll walk through exactly how to organize your prayer journal, what elements to include, and how to create a layout that serves your readers well.
A prayer journal typically provides guided prompts and space for readers to write their prayers, reflections, and thoughts. A devotional usually includes short readings, scripture, and reflection questions. I'll help you figure out which format works best for your idea.
Most prayer journals and devotionals range from 30 to 250 pages. I'll help you determine the right length for your specific prayer journal, devotional, or Bible study during the workshop.
Yes. Many successful Amazon prayer journals include both devotional content and prayer prompts. I'll help you structure it in a way that flows naturally.
Yes. In Week 6, we'll do book cover research, design templates, and learn how to create a cover that stands out on Amazon. You'll also learn about cover ideas and what makes a prayer journal cover attractive to buyers.

In Week 8, we'll create beautiful mockups that you can use to promote your journal on social media, your website, email, or anywhere else you want to share it. These mockups make your journal look professional and help drive sales.
Every session is recorded, and you'll have access to all the replays. However, I highly encourage you to attend live so you can participate, ask questions, and stay accountable.
That's exactly why I’m offering two additional weekly help sessions. You can bring your questions to Tuesday afternoons and/or Thursday evenings and get the support you need to keep moving forward.
The Tuesday and Thursday help sessions are optional but highly recommended. The core intensive workshop is on Saturdays, and your one-time fee includes replays of all sessions.
